Chocolate-Coated Granola Bars
Dropping the perfect recipe of no bake Chocolate-Coated Granola Bars here. Such a great alternate for those store-bought sugary cereal bars which cost you bucks. Trust me they are a must try for people who love snacks but are diet conscious also. Lets start with the Recipe!
Ingredients
1 cup chopped mixed nuts (Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, peanuts)
1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup mix seeds (sunflower, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds)
2 Medjool dates (pitted)
½ cup Peanut butter
3 tablespoons of Honey
2 tablespoons of coconut flakes
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
Recipe
Firstly, dry roast all the mixed nuts, salt, and seeds for 2 to 3 minutes on medium to low heat. Add rolled oats and roast it for another minute. Grind peanut butter and Medjool dates in a mixer to form a thick paste. Transfer the roasted nuts into a dish and add coconut flakes to the nuts. Mix the paste of peanut butter and dates with the roasted nuts.
Add honey and vanilla essence into the mixture and fold it evenly with the help of a spatula. Take a baking tin and line it with the butter paper with double the size of the baking tin. Place the middle portion of the paper into the tin with the corners of the paper outside so that the bars come out with a single pull of butter paper.
Add the mixture into the tin on top of the butter paper and spread it evenly with the help of a spatula. Refrigerate it until set. Pull the butter paper out of the tin and remove the butter paper from the bar. Cut it into portion bars, coat them with melted dark chocolate, and refrigerate for another two hours until the chocolate layer sets completely. Your Chocolate-coated granola bars are ready.
They are a perfect option for when you want guilt-free snacking. Store them in the fridge for about a month and you are all sorted! Do let us know how you like it in the comments and we would also love to know about other recipes you would like us to share.
