How Does The Conjecture Of Emotional Intelligence Works For Us

What is the conjecture of Emotional Intelligence and how it works ?

Why is that so that we are always less bothered when it comes to the development of emotional intelligence? The ability to deal with things from an emotional point of view is always taken for granted.

Teachers, Scholars, and scientists have always been keen to discover about natural sciences but no one wants to learn what might be the reason behind a parent’s anger outburst or a child nagging for a piece of sour candy.

Intelligence to us is always quantified, for us the numbers always matter, but we seldom care about the quality of emotion.

The idea of development of emotional intelligence brings the skill to tackle love and hate with charm and grace. The person might be angry, misjudged, helpless, and petrified but the ability to question why, how, and what for him and others, brings the emotional quotient to their mental levels.

In the past humans resorted to religion for emotional upbringing whether that was life, practice of good deeds, affection, or death. The codes and practices were under the roof of morality but as soon the modernity came into our lives, we ran towards the cultural lifeline to bring the sanity.

In reality, there is a limit to which culture can be a refuge for emotions and feelings, it cannot fix the disaster entirely that one has been experiencing.

We think that the person by birth is intelligent enough to deal with emotions but this is exactly not the case. We are built emotionally by our experiences, from the lives of our caregivers, or ourselves, when we are young. A shouting adult almost wrecks our small little world no matter what they are going through in their own meticulous life.

How does our” self” work with  development of emotional intelligence?

We tragically suffer to know least about ourselves and often are stuck to figure out what is going on in our mind.  A conversation with another person might help them derive what are our concerns and priorities, better than what we know about ourselves in years.
Our mind is mainly been fed with learning with hit and trial methods.

Most of the time when we express anger, we actually can’t figure out why we are so like that and so we never trace the events for introspection.

How we incorporate development of emotional intelligence in our relations to others?

Factors like kindness, failure, strength, and weakness all have different interpretations according to us. People always prefer to live in a win-win situation and do not want to absorb any weakness of the person they are spending time with. They don’t want to learn from failures but always want to cherish successful moments as everyone does.

Moreover, there has been that misconception that charity can only be financial but not emotional consideration. A pleasant gesture to someone who is in dire need of it can create a huge impact. We need to keep the qualitative factors in mind along with the quantitative ones.

Whether that is our relationship, peculiar tasks we do, a feeling we express to someone, all things require emotional intelligence. Therefore we should also focus on the action it brings with it because that action defines our goals and consequences, we face in our measured life spaces.
